Man I thought for sure that I would find some good ones, struck out. There was a mustang, but the price was reasonable. A Camaro, but he spelled it right, so that’s out.
However I did find a 3 series where the sell says he knows the KBB is $3000 cheaper than his asking price and he doesn’t care!!

I’m fighting the urge to email the guy and tell him hes a fuckhead.

The odometer shows 67,000 on it, and it appears to run as good as that is actual miles.
What does that even mean?

How about a “100% unmodified” 14 year old Dodge pickup for $40k? Be sure to look at his list of mods.

You could park that car in a 28 Weeks Later sequel and no one would question it.

“Scammers, I am a seasoned CL user of several years, don’t even try it.”
Scammers do not read your ad dumbass.

Might not be a total CP, but “barn kept since 1967" doesn’t jive with the pictures showing it outside.

Good thing he “DO NOT” need the money. Even the scrap value is questionable.

One thing I’ve noticed, on all the linked ads so far I am greeted with a wall of text.
Here’s the best I found in the Bay: http://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/5802238259.html

I dunno, it’s not too terrible, and ‘64 Imps are popular.

“85,413 factory original miles”
They must have done a lot of testing at the factory.

“fuel efficient Pontiac 301"
Yeah ok, though I will say Pontiac was getting close to making serious power in the smog era with the turbo 301 before it got dumped and later picked up by Buick and the GN.

2nd gens had a 5 digit odometer. So, who knows how many times that thing has rolled over.

So he knows what he has. But apparently no one else is allowed to know.
Don’t these idiots know you have to actually explain the car in a for sale ad?

I think the El Camino ad is slightly more deranged.

I know trucks tend to hold their value, but a 14 year old truck that has to be ... 33% above the original sticker? I’d guess it’s worth 15K at best.
